Life happens, of course your rug will get dirty. There are 2 methods that we recommend for cleaning your rug.
First, spot clean if you can with just soap and water then let air dry. If spot cleaning does not work, then you can wash the rug in your washing machine. Please use cold water and delicate cycle only then let rug air dry. You can use a gentle stain remover such as Truly Free's Stain Stick before you wash.
When testing with Shout's Stain Remover the rug changed its felt quality so we wouldn't recommend that. If liquid was spilled then check underneath the rug because the rug does not absorb much liquid.
